Leave The University After Bachelor Degree Or Try Master’s Degree In Germany
For quite some times Germany had only a single degree system where only Master’s Degree was available under the higher education programs. However with the recent educational reforms in the country a twin bachelor degree system has been introduced. Now the students can either pursue the bachelor’s degree program or go for the higher Master’ degree.
Reasons for introduction of the bachelor’s degree were to avoid the high rates of drop outs at the higher levels. The rate of non-completer of higher degrees was as high as 75% in some universities. To address this problem many universities have come up with courses that are shorter in duration and much more practice oriented in comparison. Normally these courses lead to the credentials at bachelor’s level. However gradually more and more universities are now coming up with several programs that are for the students that are eligible for higher studies leading to acquiring degrees. Many colleges that are imparting education in the field of art and music are also following suits.
Those who are not proficient in German language can seek their educational avenues in one of the British or American institutions that impart training in English language. Some of them have established their campus in Germany as well. One notable example is the Schiller International University in Heidelberg. There are also other institutions that operate in collaboration with the German State Institutions like the Duke University with Goethe University in Frankfurt.
Newer universities in Germany are also offering English oriented training. Overall today education in Germany with English base is no more a problem it once was.
